Cape Cod Part II

Hi friends! We’ve had a busy couple of weeks. Corey was promoted at work (go Corey!) and I’ve been getting lots of things done around the house, including finally finishing putting away our Christmas decorations. It might sound cliche but I am now in getting rid of all things that I don’t need mode.

But now let’s get back to the trip recap because I get to show you Nantucket. And Nantucket was my favorite. We took a morning ferry out from Hyannis and arrived to find what was basically Charleston but on an island and therefore maybe better. It is so good guys. Cobblestone streets and sweet little window boxes and lighthouses and quite obviously ice cream. We went on a bus tour of the island which can sometimes turn out to be lame but this one was interesting and had an adorable guide that knew all of the things about Nantucket and made me want to live there. If I one day become one of those people that uses summer as a verb, Nantucket will be where I summer. We spent the afternoon wandering and eating as we like to do, without any formal plans. We were supposed to leave on the late afternoon ferry but I was so desperate to stay just a little bit longer that we switched our tickets last minute to the late night ferry. I miss you Nantucket. Until we meet again.
