I met Julie several years ago through my friend Lindsay. I often wonder if she ever sleeps because she is constantly training for her next triathlon. But not just any triathlon. She competes in like World Championship Triathlons. Ridiculous. She is training for an Ironman right now and just looking at her Facebook posts about training makes me want to take a nap. But she is also one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. Ever since I’ve known her, she’s been with Jason. Julie and Jason are just one of those couples that make it seem easy. They are so thoughtful around one another and truly seem happy. When they first got engaged about half a year ago (has it been that long?!), Julie asked me if I would take their engagement pictures. Obviously, I was honored. We decided to make a trip to Charleston out of it because really why not. Lindsay came as well to take care of makeup and hair (so good right?) and Ben and Corey tagged along to make the trip even more fun. This magical lake/swamp area is actually the location where they got engaged, and also where they filmed that canoe scene in the Notebook. You know the one. I was on cloud nine all day long shooting these two lovely people. Congratulations you two – I just know your lives are going to be amazing. OH my god, Colleen! These are incredible… so sweet, so dreamy, so thoughtful. I’m in love with these pictures. And you can truly see how happy this couple is. Wow.
