I saw Grand Budapest Hotel back in late winter and have wanted to do a wedding inspiration collage ever since. As usual, the movie had the Wes Anderson staples of vibrant colors and picture perfect composure, as well as the hint of whimsy and nostalgia that really attracts me to his movies in the first place. Although I don’t think any of his films will ever beat Fantastic Mr. Fox, for me, this came in as a close second. My favorite part was the innocent love story between the lobby boy and Agatha, the sweet baker from Mendl’s. As always, Ralph Fiennes was genius. That man can do no wrong.
