Happenings

While Meg has been painting her house (can you even believe she did that?  mind blowing), I have been getting my house back in order from the chaos that was the Halloween party.  I was sad to see the decorations go, but man am I ready for Christmas decorating.  I’m trying to keep the crazy to a minimum and not start decorating until late November but only time will tell if that will actually happen.  My first holiday related purchase was a set of rosemary topiaries from Home Depot.  I was super excited to find these because I have been stalking some expensive topiaries on Etsy and these were only $15.

The rose bushes in my backyard aren’t happily blooming anymore, but these berries that started showing up on some of the greenery outside the kitchen window keep the view pretty all winter.

Our new rug arrived and Pica has relocated her official position.

I can never turn down pumpkin muffins made with the Trader Joes pumpkin bread mix.  I made these as a reward for actually doing yard work on Sunday.

I am not promising to keep my crazy to any kind of minimum. The crazy is COMING OUT!

you scored on those topiaries! I always get a little bummed out after putting my halloween decor away (and immediately start counting down to the day I can take them all out again).
