I love trees. Â Not sure why, but anything tree related, whether it be paintings, dish cloths, clothes, or album covers, I am drawn to. Â Somehow I was able to restrain myself from putting tree shapes on every wedding detail I could, but lord knows I wanted to. Â I’ve always felt that winter trees got a raw deal. Â In general, people seem to think that they are ugly and dreary. Â I think they are mysterious and ethereal.

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently?  And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”Â

Very romantic!
Love this post lady… very calming! 🙂 I can’t wait to see you tonight! xo
If anyone knows anything about me, it’s that I love trees. I have tons of tree photography, a tree candle holder, I dream of trees and ogle at them everywhere I go. I too love winter trees. I love the way dark branches look as the sun begins to set (or rise). I have a wonderful picture i took on my favorite trail in Boone. It’s sort of haunting but romantic and beautiful at the same time. I think if I can ever afford my own place it will be a tree house haha 🙂 Or my whole house will be decorated in tree-ness. Also, I just pinned this neat tree bed frame thing. Check it out. Thanks for this post Colleen. From one tree lover to another 🙂
Oh also — If one of you ladies could teach me how to paint a tree that would be great 😉 I
Very Pretty. Everyone needs a tree beauty.
We always have brass bed frames at home and they are really nice. ,
