Tablescapes

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Although we generally eat dinner on the couch while watching TV, for special occasions we find that food tastes much better in a beauty setting.  This weekend we put together a Thanksgiving Tablescape that we hope makes our turkey taste even more delicious.

We chose a purple and gold color scheme because it seemed more fun than the typical orange.  Things that we had laying around include the mercury glass pumpkins (from Pottery Barn), candlesticks (from a store called mom’s house), and plates and glassware (from West Elm and Crate and Barrel).  We bought the gold leaves from the Christmas section of Target and Meg bought some fabric remnants for the runner and the napkins.  Things we crafted include the bunting, sparkle pumpkins, and place cards.  Let us know if you guys want a DIY on any of them!

Now all we need is some delicious food and our favorite people and we are ready to go!  And probably sweatpants for after I consume an entire apple pie.

I see the need for a storage shed in your future. Where did you get those silver pumpkins?

Hey Kel! Haha I know we have a ridiculous amount of stuff. You should see my guest room filled to the brim with wedding decorations. I got the pumpkins at Pottery Barn last year for Halloween. I think they still have them.
