Well folks, we are officially under contract for a new home. I didn’t want to jinx it by mentioning it to you before, but it seems like we are almost in the clear, pending that the roof doesn’t fall in during the inspection. We were actually looking for a home in several very specific neighborhoods. Then one day, I randomly stumbled upon this adorable Victorian on Zillow not quite in our isolated desireable locations, and I figured it couldn’t hurt to take a gander. Pretty much from the moment we stepped inside, I got a little bit giddy. If you know me, you know I don’t really do giddy. I am ever so practical you see. I can’t wait to move in and start decorating, but deciding to purchase homes and plan trips to France in the same year is going to leave me slightly empty in my bank account. And apparently, couches, rugs, and light fixtures cost millions of dollars. Particularly the ones I have my eye on. So whenever you guys come over, remember to bring your own chair.
