Halloween

Hocus Pocus Wedding Inspiration

It could absolutely be argued that Hocus Pocus is our favorite movie to watch in October.  Somehow it just doesn’t feel like Halloween without it.  We thought it would be fun to create some wedding inspiration from the movie, which in our dream world would be for Max and Allison’s wedding.  The wedding would be fun but dark, as a homage to Allison’s favorite holiday.  Binx would obviously be the ring bearer, and the bridesmaids (including Dani) would wear cute little cocktail dresses with colors inspired by the witches wardrobe.  We know them so well, we really feel like we should be invited.

I am obsessed with this idea, as Hocus Pocus has always been in my top 10 favorite movies. Side note, what happened to Max…has he been in anything recently? I could have sworn to you that he would have been a huge star! Binx was my favorite character, so wise.

  3. Megan

Linds, it is Vivienne Westwood. I am obsessed too. Also, if you like that you should check out Vera’s whole Fall 2012 bridal collection. You die. Sarah, I am excited about your store! Can’t wait to see when it opens. Will it be brick and mortar or online? Max should definitely have been a huge star. Such charisma. 😉 Haven’t seen him around though. Binx is the jam.

Best Halloween movie, hands down! Love the inspiration you gals gathered from this great movie and turned it into what would be an amazing wedding! Side note, Max (Omri Katz) did 1 thing (John Larroquette Show) immediately after this movie, then fizzled out. Fun fact, though, the young man that played human Binx? Yeah, that is McGee on NCIS!
ps- next year is the 20th anniversary of this movie (omg I feel old now), I hope they do a special edition!!!

  9. Katie

I love this movie. Tell me why was Thackary Binx not a name consideration for young Theodore. Since the middle name is still open I will be considering Binx. What do you think?
